BlueCap Marketing is a Charlotte, NC, based full service marketing agency with experience across the corporate spectrum. Blue Cap Marketing provided all due diligence related to the naming rights negotiation of the Atlanta Braves stadium including market comps, benefit recommendation and valuation, legal mandatories, negotiation strategies and activation ideas.

Blue Cap Marketing served as agency of record for Grant Thornton responsible for developing and implementing the company’s overall sports marketing strategy. Recommendations included the company’s first ever national partnership with the PGA Tour and priority local market partnerships including the Chicago Cubs, The Nationals, the Barclays Center and the Charlotte Hornets.

Blue Cap Marketing was hired to represent NFP in negotiating contracts with PGA Tour player and his agent. Strategy, approach, assets, and appearances were all elements of this relationship.

Blue Cap Marketing served as Senior Advisor to the Board of Trustees. The scope of work included Discovery, Recovery, and Education to large benefactors around a new, long-range development of this impressive regional asset.

Blue Cap Marketing serves as a contract sales agent for this veteran team of sports executives. Properties include CFP, Bowl Season, ESPN events, Country Music, American Heritage and Tourism.

BCM provided an interim CMO structure for the V Foundation during a transition period of leadership. During that nine-month period, we led fundraising, CRM, and partnerships, including ESPN events and media integration.

Home – Partners

De is a passionate sales and marketing professional who started in collegiate and professional sports, but who has transitioned into a New Media marketing specialist. He has a talent for building and maintaining long-term agency and client relationships at the team, rights holder and property levels, on both a regional and national basis. Notable achievements include his work in ACC, SEC, Major League Baseball, ​and NASCAR. De knows the broadcast and new media environments, ​and was responsible for building the collegiate marketing and licensing program that served as the model in the industry. He has spent the last six years helping start and grow two successful agencies,​ affording him a unique perspective to help understand client objectives and execute strategies that drive their business. De received a BA in Economics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and resides in Charlotte with his wife and three children.

Martha Dockery Clark is a veteran brand marketing, business manager and experienced team leader. She has developed and implemented marketing & communications strategies for a diverse set of organizations including Fortune 25 financial services company, Bank of America, consumer juggernaut MillerCoors, sports franchises, agencies and non-profits. Clark is known as a win-win negotiator, having negotiated over $1 billion in multi-year contracts with virtually every sports & media entity involved in sponsorship.
